A picture of Ilaria Buselli / DayOne StaffI love everything is contemporary, and I strongly believe that each period speaks it’s own language thus, all my work aims to metabolize a typical language of our times. Sure, the past is my stronghold but I always look forward, beyond the present. After years of training in which I studied painting at the Accademia di Belle Arti in Carrara with Professor Omar Galliani, I have taken part in numerous exhibitions all over Europe; I also worked for graphic magazines and in the art management. I’m specialized in graphic design and communication, following a Masters degree in “Social Media and Web Communication” at the European Institute of Design in Florence. Many people have said that I am uncompromising… This led me to be very critical and to continuously seek the highest quality and artistic research.

Viola Andrea Duse Masin

Sara Buselli

sara@dayone-art.com Sara Buselli / DayOne StaffI was born in a small town by the seaside, where seagulls flying low over the houses, but for the past ten years I have been living and working in Florence. After a degree and a Master’s degree in the disciplines of arts, music and entertainment, I worked as press office manager for agencies, which produce and organize events and cultural festivals. As a child I had a dream; to work in a cultural magazine, thus, along with some colleagues, I founded one, for which I played both the roles of journalist and press officer. But my urge to write has not yet passed. Correspondingly, I’m cultural journalist for online newspapers and  press officer for cultural events around Florence. I am Libra ascending Capricorn, so my philosophy is ‘nothing is impossible!’

Francesca Ferrari

francesca@dayone-art.com I aA picture of Francesca Ferrarim a nostalgic who always regrets two things: the first is that I wasn’t a teenager in the Sixties; the second is that Bob Dylan never fell in love with me. However, life goes on, and you can’t live in the past, so the only thing to do is go follow your own way, reinventing the present with a little bit of retrò style. Probably it’s because of this that I escaped from the greyness of my hometown, La Spezia, just after I graduated. I just wanted to dedicate myself to music, the thing I love most. And now, after my academic path and some interesting experiences, I’m here, ready to conquer the world with DAY ONE!

I grew up beside the mighty Niagara River in blue-collar Western New York, and I graduated from Case Western Reserve University (2014) with undergraduate degrees in English and Environmental Studies, minors in Art Studio and Art History, and a focus in journalism. I channeled my fascination with contemporary art as a student journalist interviewing local artists from Northeast Ohio and studying Earthworks. I first traveled to Florence as an Au Pair after graduation, but it wasn’t long before I realized that catering to a two-year-old’s Nutella obsession wasn’t “la bella vita.” I am here as a collaborative intern with Day One to help rising young contemporary artists from all over the world pave the way for their bright careers and ignite the Florence contemporary art scene!

Lia Elisabeth Ginepri

I was born on February 19, 1981 in Carrara but I live in Paris. I have a degree in Theatre Arts at the University of Florence. After experiencing a course for actors directed by Sylvie Gérard Philipe Pascaud at the theater of Saint-Denis, Paris, I have acted in numerous plays and also I have attended some classes for actors, but the turning point in my career was taking part in the Laboratory Theatre & Vocal Performance, Choreography, Roy Hart Centre PANTHEATRE with Enrique Pardo. It is thanks to his talent and his professionalism that I could discover a theatre full of live and total energy , the theatre that I love. From DAY ONE, I want to let everyone know, I want to continue to bring it alive.
